CANSAS 2.0

CANSAS, short for Ciphered and Authenticated Network Services Access System, in its 2.0 incarnation, provides a lightweight authentication mechanism to users connected to an open wireless network, and is usuall deployed as a WiFi hotspot running the GNU/Linux operating system.

The second release of the system is more focused on wireless network access, providing distributed solution for authentication which can be embedded on resource-limited hotspots, while authentication is done against a centralized service.

CANSAS 2.0 reuses the WifiDogOUT gateway daemon and uses its own authentication and captive portal implementation, named WRATH.
