Fisterra Barnacle
Fisterra Barnacle system is a data access and storage implementation with the following features:
- Implemented with GObject
 . It's object-oriented, providing inheritance and composition of persistent objects.
- Relational database storage with PostgreSQL.
- The object implementation is build automagically from an XML description of the classes and attributes, with Barnacle code generator. The code generation includes the data objects, SQL database definition, and database retrieve and storage methods.
- It provides CORBA bindings, to let Enterprise GNOME Barnacles pass business object representations to the clients.
